The 10 colored groups correspond to the 10 top-level domains plus context layers (brands, regions, defects). Hover any node to dim everything that is not connected to it — the connection map emerges from the noise. Click a domain to navigate to its detail page. Use the checkboxes to filter to a single layer.
Filter by group
Hierarchy (3 layers)
Domain (10, full opacity) anchors the system. Content groups (product, part, material, construction, process, region — ~100 nodes, 85% opacity) are the sub-categories you can read. Meta groups (brand, factory, person, policy, defect, trend, economic — ~50 nodes, 40% opacity) are the context layer.
Node size
Encodes centrality — how many connections the entity has. The most-connected nodes (Running Shoes, Full-Grain Leather, Oxford, Cemented, Italy) are the structural pillars of the footwear system.
Hover behavior
Hovering a node dims everything that is not directly connected to it. The neighborhood emerges from the noise. This is the fastest way to see "what is related to what" in a given cluster.
